Hang in their. I went to college for a long time a few classes at a time. when I finshed my kids were starting elementary school. They to have dyslexia and I could not stand watching them struggle like I did. I went back to school and got my masters in special education. I got a lot of books on tape and had people edit my essays. I edit my kids essays and have there dad(none dyslexic) point out grammer erors. In class we got note takers (other students took notes on dito sheet).tests they get extra time. I made it through my masters with no acomodations but with alot of help from family and friends. I figured as long as it is all my own work I can have an editor such as a book writer would have.
