Most if not all UK universities now have a Dyslexia Service (usually part of Student Services and/or the Disabilities Service). They should be able to advise on what support they can offer at university level. With the various legislation that has come in over the past few years exam adjustments such as readers and scribes are fairly commonplace adjustments.

At HE level much of the support is funded by the Disabled Students Allowance which is funded independently of the universities. At present this is administered by the local authority but the scheme will be ctralised from 2008/09 when Student Finance Direct will take over - the same people that administer other aspects of student finance.
