Hi! I am a spanish teacher and I am dyslexic too. Ask your mom to talk to your teachers. Maybe they can read the test to you. It may seem more natural and you'll feel like you are practicing with your mom like when she quizzes you. If time is an issue, the teachers can tape the questions on a tape and you can eather write the answers down or you can tape the answers on another tape. Teachers want to know how much you know, that the object of the test, you need to find other ways to prove to your teachers that you know the material. If you are dyslexic and the school knows you have problems testing, they need to make accomodations for you.Just talk to your teachers and both of you can figure out creative ways to show what you know. If it's a matter of stress, suck a mint candy when you are taking a test and breath in through your nose and let the air out very slowly through your mouth, it calms me down and nobody knows you are doing it, take your time (teachers should give you extra time) If your teacher gives you "mad minutes" for math, just tell him/her that you would do better with more time. Keep your chin up! Dyslexic people are the most creative people in the world! Silvia
