I've heard of some ACT tests being given orally, but don't know if they are required to do so. Do you have documentation of your disability? that would probably help. My son is severely dyslexic, was reading at the 4th grade level. He went through a year of remediation at $100 an hour 6 hours a week to get his reading skills and organizational skills improved. That helped some, but he still is unable to get through his college courses.

Good luck finding a college that gives a hoot. We've tried several and always the same thing, no help at all. He is a baseball player and has been recruited and promised all the help he needs at three schools, but once he gets there it never happens. No one seems to understand the struggles. The last school he tried had a baseball head coach with a doctorate with a degree in psychology, he was also the schools special needs advisor. We were hopeful that this would be a good fit, but once again no help. For some reason is you seem intelligent in person they assume that you can function and they just let you struggle along on your own. Had the coach checked on him periodically he would have noticed when his assignments were no longer posting in his online classes. My son was just improperly submitting his work and it wasn't posting, typical dyslexic move. No one understands or cares. My son has 12 provisions that are supposed to be granted through his documentation, yet he has never received any help at all. I hope you can find a college that will help, but we sure haven't.
