Hi Ragad

I completed my degree in 2003 writing my dissertation for which I got a 1rst was hard but it is rewarding once it comes together. Remember to talk to your supperviser and tell them what you find difficult they should be a lot of help.
From speaking to non dyslexic collegues I imagine that it is a frightening prospect for anyone not just people who have dyslexia like us.

Personally I planned mine by using mind mapping so that I could find out what all my ideas were and could work out how to sectorise them. The book use your head by tony Buzzan was recommended to me before I started my final year. I found some of the techniques very usefulluseful

I also mind mapped each Idea in each chapter so that I could organise these individually. Previously I had always just writen a paragraph plan and tried tor relate th paragraphs logically but I find this difficult.

I am now studying medicine and am having to do another project as ever I have twice as many words as I need but I will re write when I am finished getting all the info together- my original plan will be modiffied I think.

The best Advice I can give is that diss writing is a process plan it write it plan it again and write down your refferences as you go. There will be difficult tiems but it will all be worth it in the end don't give up

GOOD LUCK!!!
