I am a 19 year old freshman at college .I have had problems all through middle school and high school. My parents just thought that I didn't try hard enough. I am a very good reader and somewhat good speller. But I have some things about me that i cannot explain. In my head i know exactly what i want to say but i cannot complete a sentence, its like i can't find the correct word even though it ends up being a simple word. I just found out that i had a speech problem when i was little, i couldn't pronouce certain letters and my mom had to teach me to talk but i still have problems saying certain words. My speaking skills are not very good, i know what to say but i can't say it. I have read some things about telling time and i had problems with that i still do. It takes me more time to read a regular clock, i have to count to be able to know what time it is. I can only really read digital clocks very quickly. Even though i am a good reader, I sometimes have to read the same sentence over and over until i fully comprehend it. I don't know what this problem is but i don't know what else to do. What advice to would you give me?
