I have a friend with dyslexia, i have heared a lot from her about how she is treated unfairly. She has had two instructors i know of that have told her litteraly to leave their class because they didnt want to have to deal with her, that she was too stupid to be in their class. She is trying to go into EKU, as far as i know she has never gotten any accomidations for her dyslexia. Recently her gpa dropped below 2.0. The class that did this she had on her tests 3 c's and an F. she does her school work and gets passing grades and she has been given an f for that class. That doesnt add up to me at all. She feels like she cant argue the grade because that instructor is the dean of the socialogy dept. for the past 5 semesters she has been fighting a loosing battle with instructors about her performance, her dyslexia being ignored. She is at the point of giving up. She trys so hard it saddens and angers me to see this happen to her. Is there anything at all that can be done to help her. I cant think of anything myself. Please if anyone can help me respond to this post. Thank you.

Michael
