Tainted lay still for a few moments before attempting to struggle to her feet. She made it up to a fitting position for a few moments before her limbs slid out from under her and she ended up laying down again.

The twins lay in the bedding huddled together. Their coats were mostly dry and had begun to fuzz out. The smaller of the two was a bay and white filly and the larger was a black and white colt. They looked on at their mother and the human who was with her.
