One character in crime and punishment who is selfless is Razumikhin. I say this because hr stayed by and supports raskolnikov in his time of trouble and shows great resolve as a friend. Razumikhin gets the satisfaction that he was able to help some one in crisis. Razumkhin's action can be seen as heroic because he defended someone with serious problems even though he had his own doubts, but even through that hegave the benifit of the doubt to his associate.
