I think Bush was looking for an excuse to invade Iraq so he manufactured one. The invasion of Iraq and 9-11 are completely unrelated.

Some President after Bush is going to have to cut our loses and pull out of Iraq. That yet unknown President will be blamed for the U.S. losing the Iraqi war. Bush already lost the war, he just doesn't have the courage to admit it.

You can make excuses for him all you want. If Iraq again becomes a Country hostile to the Western World, your excuses and the lives of the soldiers who died in Iraq will both be rendered worthless.

And we will have Bush, and those who make excuses for him, to thank.
