I have a thought. Have you ever attended an Episcopal service? They are much more appealing if you don't like the idea of robotic ritual. Usually, something different occurs in my own parish each week. Episcopal churches, from what I've seen, are usually smaller, lending to a closer, more familial environment. I've been to a Baptist service, and I want to attend a Catholic mass once in my life, but being 16 kinda puts a hamper on that. Just a suggestion to give you ideas... :)
