Subject: Our new Boarder - plus

Our new resident, Pepsi, has been with us for 2 whole days now and I am happy to report is doing just fine. A moment ago he and Gramps were having a little game in the living room (chase the apron tie around). We are delighted that mom and dad are getting away for a few days to just do their own thing. We expect them home on the 22nd.

Sorry we havn't connected with you two for a few days. It has been a busy time with Ted's birthday, Liam's welcoming party, visiting Gwen etc. We held Liam's party in our Senior Centre in Brentwood Bay. The numbers bacame too numerous for us to hold it here. 24 of us. We would dearly have liked you two to there but lots of pictures were taken.

I have resigned my job as 'membership chairperson' at the seniors centre effective April but in the meantime we have our annual clearing out of the deadwood (not literally) and making up a new telephone directory plus training the person taking over so life continues to be quite busy.

We love getting your messages and keep track in our Atlas of your various destinations. We thought Penang sounded like the perfect destination for a beach holiday but now maybe Ko Pha Ngan. $3.50 a night - WOW!!!

We think of you often and talk a lot about where you are and what you might be up to. Elephant travel is not on the top of our travel list.

We are finally filling up our reservoirs with water - it has been raining here for the past few days with more to come.

Gramps says thanks for his birthday greetings - nice to receive.
Oodles of love and hugs, Gram and Gramps P. & T.
