Subject: CHEAPEST HOEGAARDEN IN THE COUNTRY!

I was having a drink in the Magpie and Crown (listed on this web-site) in Brentford the other night when a bloke came in and said he'd just paid £4.80p for a pint of Hoegaarden in Wandsworth! He showed no outward signs of insanity, but I ask you, £4.80p for a pint, would you pay it?

This brought us on to the subject of the cheapest pint of Hoegaarden we'd ever had, and we all agreed, it had to be the Magpie itself which sells it, in the proper glass, at £2.55p a pint. I'm willing to bet that this is the cheapest pint within the M25 and probably anywhere else in the country for that matter.

Does anyone know of a bar anywhere in the country selling Hoegaarden for less than £2.55p a pint?
