EVENT: 2008 AMERICA'S MISS MARYLAND SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT
DATE: Saturday, August 18, 2007
LOCATION: Patapsco High School Center for the Arts - Baltimore, Maryland

State Winners will receive:

$300 Scholarship
Official America’s Miss Crown & Sash
Engraved America’s Miss Trophy
Entry fee paid to 2008 National Pageant
VIP Day of fun at Walt Disney World
Professional Photo Session
Bouquet of Flowers
Travel and Appearance Opportunities

The Entry Fee is $25.00. With the exception that all contestants must sell 2 tickets ($20.00 ea.) to the Maryland Pageant, there are no other fees required to compete. Due to space limitations, only a limited number of contestants may compete in the Maryland Pageant.

Contestants compete in:

Personal Interview
Fitness Wear
Formal Wear

Top 5 will have an on stage question. Question will be appropriate for a teen or miss.

A winner will be selected in three (3) age divisions: Junior Teen (13-15), Teen (16-19) and Miss (20-26). (You must be no older than the highest age in the division on August 1, 2008 to compete in that division.)

America's Miss seeks a young woman who is confident and interested in earning scholarships to pursue higher education and personal goals. She will become a spokesperson for Maryland and represent her state at the 2008 National pageant in Orlando, Florida.

NOTE. State winners may hold other titles and compete in other pageants.
