Hello Al.....I don't think we have met in the past but let me run a few names passed you and see if you remember any of them;

Alan Blakeley
Dave Furlong
Elaine McCarthey
Alan Jenkins

I believe that they all lived in the Burnage Close area....you were just a hop, skip and a jump from Central School.....were you ever late? You could put your early memories of Speke on the site... I know there are lots of surfers all over the world who would love to be reminded of the early days on the Speke Estate........all the best

Hi...only just got wind of this site! I also know the Wicksted family, I am in contact with one of the girls, Sue. Sadly, Chris died in the 70s in a motorbike accident, didn't know if you were aware or not, I will mention your family to Sue.
