Yes I remember Western Ave well. My Aunt worked at the kiosk in the early to mid 50's (Muriel Proffitt)see photo's. She Lived at number 169 Western Ave. You are correct It was owned by Mr Butler, I still have a reference written (typed) by him for my Aunt when she left to live in Australia in 1955.I as a boy at the time lived in Little Heath Rd.near the new church. The minister was Pastor Thomas who also lived in Western Ave. We came to Australia in 1960.
