Subject: It's not from any LFN scene. (r)

For this week's challenge I wanted to evoke a scene that would show nothing is sacred to Section's testing. At the same time I wanted to stay away from any particular scene from the series but still create something that could easily fit into any of the storylines.

My first draft of this showed that the woman that walked in through the door was Corinne, Paul's wife. And this would be early on when Paul is not yet Section but they're trying to *recruit* him. As I was fine tuning the scene though I realized that the man here could be any number of people in Section, and so I decided to leave it purposely ambiguous and let the reader decide for themselves who the characters are, what is the nature of the test, and what is the price for failing it? It might be a little too ambiguous for some people's taste but I found it more challenging and satifying to write it this way. Hope you enjoyed it regardless. :)
