I had started this thread here because I was wondering what difference a 'Madeline-like' character would have made to '24.' For my money, it would have provided a much more interesting and exciting set of circumstances--to say nothing of a more balanced and realistic picture.

Having watched last week's episode, and without doing any spoilers, I guess we'll never know. *g*

P.S. OK, I must admit that a good part of my reaction was missing Ms. Madeline and longing to see her again. *sigh*
