Has it really been another year??? (r)

The birthday was definitely a mixed bag. I woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine that wouldn't quit. I had trouble keeping the meds down, which didn't help, and I finally was able to feel better by around 5 oclock in the afternoon!

However, I didn't let it stop me from having dinner with two other birthday girls and a mutual friend, which was an excellent finish to a trying day. I went out in the yard and dug dandelions just to vent *grins* my orneriness over the headache.

So, another year begins. Maybe I should make a resolution to finish all my WIPs *LOL* *!!!* THAT would be an accomplishment.

The down side is that this will be my first Mother's Day without my Mom, and it's turning out to be MUCH harder than I even thought it would be.

So, here's to you, Mom, on my birthday. btw, the year I was born my birthday fell on the day before Mother's Day. Isn't that cool?
