It is facinating the impressions that we all walked with!

I saw (and still see) Michael as a perfectionist first and foremost. Whatever he was doing he had to be, at least in his own reflection, as good as he possibly could be. A perfectionist needs rules and structure to be able to perfect their craft, whatever it might be. I think that is what Michael got from his time with Rene` and from Section - the structure and the rules that he needed to be able to define 'perfect' for himself.
