in regards to Michael makes it even more clear how much guilt he must have really had, because there is such a long list of Valentine targets on his resumé, at least the ones we know about! His is probably the longest list.
Then there's Madeline and Leon, Ops and the digger from Centre (can't think of her name, but she was played by Gene's real-life wife), their indiscretions were fewer, but no less intense, as indicated by Madeline's assassination of Charles Sand, and Ops allowing Corrine to be destroyed for a mission.
Yet it all speaks to the depth of dedication that these people gave to Section! Amazingly, in spite of the difficulty of their situations, they were willing to sacrifice their own feelings along with those they loved, or once loved.
