Hey pa -

I'm not sure how your post pertains to deferring to a secret law in order to justify asking for ID to get on a plane. Invasion of privacy (whose again)? Trade secrets (whose trade)? It seems like a justification for an applicable law could be pretty straight forward like - "It might be detrimental to safety of yadayada if we don't. It's reasonable to ask for one and not unduly burdensome, etc." The guy is testing the law and has a history of doing so - millionaire libertarian that he is. But saying there's a law tht no one can know about - not even a judge - is bizarre to say the least.

I was surprised that there was no such law. And why not refer to "Executive order" or some such thing? Wierd.
