Sorry. Terry is her boss from Concordia. She was the one who had the problems with administration there (was sort-of fired, reinstated, not sure if she has a contract, etc.) She applied at UWM after krz, interviewed and was extended an offer. Separate from the offer, her work was presented to the university's tenure committee (she didn't bother to prepare it in the recemmended format according to krz - she'll have to explain what that means later) who deemed it insufficient to grant tenure at this point. I think one concern was all her publications were in the PTJournal - not diversified enough I guess. Anyway, Terry (krz's old boss) is turning it into a "they don't want PT" and "they don't understand PT" etc. - taking it a little personal. This may result in either Terry turning down the offer, or I'm not sure if UWM would retract it. That may in turn lead to krz negotiating for the entry-level DPT director position (she is the transitional DPT director - transitional is for people that already have some form of PT degree - MPT or B.S., entry-level is new students).

Krz's take is she wants Terry to make a decision so she can get on with her work and move the program forward. krz's work may be initially easier with Terry at UWM because it would mean one less faculty to find. Terry's teaching evals and interpersonal communication history tend to have me hoping that she stays put.

Krz's tenure clock remains at 7-years from hire - get tenure within 7 years or get out. She has a meeting on tuesday with the department chair to begin mapping that process out.
