great stories pjk -- It's a hunting culture like the one you described that I can really respect. Killing the animal should never be easy. Gep bought me a new cookbook - 'Kitchen of Light'- that speaks to the game and cooking traditional to Norway and the very northern Scandinavian countries. The stories that go along with the book are really enjoyable to me.

Sad case all around in WI - in a season that was one of the safest in a long time.
