hey thanks t for the other perspective. I'm not sure buying the costume felt like spoiling as much as it felt like giving in (although I can't explain giving into what exactly - so your take is appreciated)

Tom is a good kid, and geo and i are pretty proud of him on a regular basis. He can also try our patience, has selective listening skills, and near as I can tell no frontal lobe 'stop' mechanism in place. Which 6/7 year old boy isn't like this tho. I'll send pics of the kids in their costumes (dan was a 'head' too).
