hiya i lived in clamley rd went to st ambrose school then all hallows girls school i remember miss mullen and miss short speke ispicking up a bit again i remember scouts hun used to play bingo there on a wed nite also remmber church on easten used to be a club on a fri4 kids disco etc my brother used to work in the butchers on alderwood ave rem the barbers there 2
i remembr it all it was great in spek then th kids nevr did what th kids do today you played out and had fun i know all the shops in alderwood now thank with your help i moved to speke in 1956 when i was 2 i am still hr it has changed for the worse but SLH the police and community groups are doing a fine job to cut asb the 3 year waiting list to get into speke dont believ it it looks good for SLH We should of stayed with the council we would of got all the improvements in the end from them and payed less rent nice to hear from you do you remember a barber who lived in alderwood ave
