I remember Mr McCabe, my brother Brian had him for 3 years straight because no other teacher would have him, his classroom was next to the church. I had Miss Oakley and remember her giving me 6 of the best, my oldest brother Peter was a prefect and sent me to her, I aso went to All Hallows but then we emigrated to Australia and we are still here it has been a great life but l still think the best times were growing up in Speke, Oggy Shore Speke Hall and Peter used to take us to the airport to see the planes, and l will always remember when the Fair came every year down near Western Ave we were only allowed to listen to classical and opera music at home so l enjoyed the music there. I still play that music today
