Subject: A change of heart.

Hey guys,
So I had a change of heart, and decided my previous reply to Mike concerning Stavesacre was unnecessary and mean. I take it back, now that it is too late. I was typing another post to tear about Mike's grammar and spelling when it occured me. "This is mean." So I deleted it, and decided to go on and post an apology for my first post. I was in the "tear apart something someone likes and try to be funny, mean, and condescending all at once." I probably missed the funny part, and replaced it with "making oneself look like an ass."
So yeah. School started. I'm starting my second week of classes here, and it's already intense. I got a lot of stuff done tonight...and I'm feeling pretty good about it. My computer sucks a whole lot...and the next time I come home, I'm going to beg you Roberto to clean it out as much as anyone can clean out a computer and fix it. I'll offer you money and everything. It pisses me off...why the crap is Windows XP freezing...please tell me that is something a good wipe can fix.
Whatever...it's late...I still have more to do.

reformat and start over with spybot and avg

a firewall isn't a bad idea either (other than windows firewall...i wouldn't even recommend leaving that on)

the best one i've found is called "sygate personal firewall". it's free. just google the name to find the download.

You should get Windows XP Service Pack 2 before you do anything drastic. The firewall in SP2 is really good. Microsoft made some great improvements on it. If it comes to wiping the machine clean, I have a program that will actually zero the hard drive instead of making it overwritable (if that's a word). That the best way to do a clean install.
