Author: Mike Cypull
Subject: It's that time again!
Now that we're all in different places doing different things lets do the list thing again. If you've forgotten, all I'm gonna do is list my five favorite CDs and/or songs and the more recent books I've read.
1. Pedro the Lion - Achilles Heel and Winners Never Quit
2. Bright Eyes - Lifted
3. R.E.M. - In Time (Best Of)
4. The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium
5. Built to Spill - There's Nothing Wrong with Love
Those are the ones I've been listening to the most recently.
Books:
Currently: C.S. Lewis - Chronicles of Narnia (I'm on the Magician's Nephew) and Miguel De Cervantes - Don Quixote
Recently: Koushun Takami - Battle Royale (totally awesome), Dan Simmons - Hard Freeze, Arthur C. Clarke - The Fountains of Paradise (Sci-fi), and Mark Soloman - Simplicity (very good as well)
Oh, one more thing, I'll be home this weekend if any of you guys are in the neighborhood...
Love,
Mike.

Re: It's that time again! -- Grant., 13:05:06 10/20/04 Wed
As you all know, I'm not much of a reader, but I am an avid music listener. it's hard to pick full cd's, but here it goes...
1) Astronomy ~ Bleach
2) So Long, Astoria ~ The Ataris
3) Sha Sha ~ Ben Kweller
4) The Fires of Life ~ Cool Hand Luke
5) The Beautiful Letdown ~ Switchfoot
I just got this new cd Matter of Time by Javier Mendoza Band that came to our school, they sounded good live but I haven't listened to the cd yet.
That's all. Thank You.
~Grant.
