I have a magic carpet. Actually, I don't. In fact, my carpet is far from being magic. It's actually quite dirty. But if I had a magic carpet, I'm sure I'd be ranked 71st in the state in the area of "ability to do stunts on a magic carpet". So take that Mike.

Mike, good for you. I tried to get a hold of you this last weekend but you were too busy with magic. talk about dedication. I'm also glad that you are 72 out of 75 in magic playing situations. that's all, sorry for the ripping.

I'm ranked 72nd out of (sadly) 129 people, but I did finish with an overall record of 3 and 5 so that's not terrible. I played in the Minnesota competition, 8 hours of Magic, w00t!

So, I don't even play Magic anymore, but this argument is just stupid. The same can be said about Harry Potter. Whoever you are, if you support the theory that Magic is "evil", your focus is in the wrong place. What gets me about this webpage is that it states, "No one should even pretend to be a child of the devil, an enemy of righteousness." Magic is clearly not real. In fact, it probably takes place in another dimension. Magic is just a form of mythology, like classical Greek mythology or Lord of the Rings for that matter. Everyone knows it's not real and does not give allusions to the world that God created. People that make arguments against Magic and Harry Potter are ill-focused. They need to work on getting kids to stop using Ouija boards and believing their horoscopes. That's just my personal opinion, and for the record I'm not calling you, whoever you are, dumb, but the argument in question is indeed ridiculously misplaced. By the way, if you want something else to suspect Satan of, my magic carpet has a peace symbol on it.

and i agree with marty. harry potter, magic and the like are not evil. most people who believe this don't know harry potter's friends names or the five colors of magic. my point? they know nothing about it. they just go off of what they have heard and don't put any time to research it themselves. take some time to learn about it, maybe then i'll listen to your criticms. however, that article did look like some research was done before the judgements were cast, so that's good. other than that, harry potter DVD number 3 comes out on november 23, and i've had it reserved since july. have a good night everyone!
