The answer is that we do not have to merge.
The question being asked is simply, do you as a town voter want to merge?
Why?
Do you remember what happened with the last gang that ran it? The concern is, can we trust that form of government when it has failed us so badly in the past.
Gary McCarthy is doing a fine job, but like the rest of us he will move on some day, then what.
