Like I said earlier, there has only been one opportunity so far that he and the producers could have used.. and I assume either he was busy, or they had things lined up for that night (it is their show).
I know that I would never just "go down this Thursday" without arranging things first. Thats just not proper etiquette. I assume you meant for him to arrange it beforehand.
Again, he may be working or have an event planned with kids, etc. I know that I always put my kids before any other plans (its the time and effort spent with them that helps them to succeed). And on the other hand, there are a lot of budget and negotiation meetings going on around town this week in preparation for town meeting next week, and the WRT people may be planning on hitting those topics and have invited other guests.. I don't know thier plans for the week.
Now Blake, I am impressed with your writing and interest. You speak well, and do a good job of getting your point across. I find it important to write clearly and completely on this type of forum so as to reduce the instances of being misinterpreted. You do that well. I recommend however, like many others, that you don't let the nut bother you or drive you. The rest of us have learned to ignore him and are working on new methods of supporting our causes.
Find something in town that you are interested in working on improving, make a plan, and make it happen. Put your time to a positive effort.
My efforts in that den were to expose light on the people and efforts behind what I saw as a poor candidate for school committee. (originally, I thought the place was a forum for discussion on town issues.. I learned better) I did what I wanted, and moved on. I don't have time for feeding the squirrels when there are bigger issues on my plate.
On another note, I have met a number of the people on this site and on the different town committees. I have not, however, met Michael as of yet. When his schedule eases in the future, I hope to work with him on some ventures in support of the town (Michael, send me an email address sometime so I can contact you).
