Dear Dracut Resident Number 37:

I regret to inform you that I have deleted your most recent posting. I have saved it in a file off-line, in case you want it back, or in case one of my colleagues takes issue with my decision and would like to post it.

I have three reasons for not posting it:

1) First and foremost -- and sufficient all by itself -- are our rules, to wit our rule number two: " You may not be anonymous -- you must provide a consistent name and a valid email address -- if you want to question policies, or state your opinion, or disagree with the WRT people or others. Identification must be adequate in the view of the moderator."

Your opinions are many! And you are not identified. I'm sorry now I let you slide on your opinion that the turnout in the Dracut election was not good. This goes way beyond.

2) Secondarily, the subject matter is not really our thing, although we do discuss national affairs from time to time. But let me suggest that you take your teachings of Senator Byrd (D-WV) and find another outlet for them. He is a nutcase, and a disgrace to the US Senate, and I'm just not interested. (Yes, I am expressing an opinion - but I am fully identified and willing to be held responsible for my comments.)

3) Finally, and just a by-the-way, not really a disqualifying feature of your post: 18 paragraphs? 2,500 words? Come on! I thought I was verbose!
