If the figure of >17% of Dracut’s children attending a non-public educational institution versus approximately a 10% statewide average is accurate, than do these figures translate into a lack of confidence with the Dracut public school system? If you compare our districts private/parochial population versus our neighbors (Tyngsboro, Methuen, Lowell and Chelmsford), than Dracut still is above average in non-district students.
