2003 High Holiday Services - Temple Emanuel of the Merrimack Valley in Lowell - No Tickets needed!

http://www.temv.org/
ROSH HASHANAH, Friday evening, September 26, 8pm: Erev Rosh Hashanah Service.

A special feature of this evening’s service will be the opportunity to present, on behalf of Mazon, the Jewish anti-hunger organization our congregation helps to support, a grant check to the Children’s Sentinel Nutrition Assessment Project, a national research effort headquartered at Boston Medical Center and led by Dr. Deborah Frank, who is, of course, part of our community and, not incidentally, my wife. As the Holy Day season is one of the times when we urge contributions to Mazon, this is a great opportunity to understand a little better what these contributions help to support.

Saturday morning, September 27, 10am: Rosh Hashanah Morning Service.

A parallel service and activities for younger children will be offered downstairs, with everyone joining together for the shofar service. Kiddush will follow the service.

For planning purposes, Yom Kippur services will be held on Sunday night October 5 and all day Monday October 6.
