Although the question was asked of selectmen,as one who spent a fair amount of time in that position,I have a resonable response to the question.
I don't have any first hand knowledge about this case,so I'm relying on news papers for information. None of us should form opinions about a lawsuit on newsprint.
Because of their position in government,members of the board are not free to disclose information critical to this or any other suit envolving the town,so although they may "wish to opine" the must be careful.
My best advice, see how it plays out before you form opinions.
