It was NOT stronger than the First, however it did have a growing power which means that one day it could have been stronger. But the major downfall with the dark one, is that it has corpreal form. also, we could throw in that since its physical body lived a life over and over, that it could have a side of humanity that could be tapped later on in the season, like human weakness, such as the mayor...
