Dear Cassandra;
What you say is certainly a possibility. That indeed their is nothing "out there" And whats more problamatic, how could we prove it since we can't get "out there"?
Two questions remain that bother me though. First, is if there is no materiality, a something "out there", that obeys all these laws of gravity, physics, chemistry, etc. in this incredibly complex explanation of how things work, then how and why do things work? I mean why would it appear that we are physical beings that have evolved by natural laws and are living on a planet in a universe? You have to admit it looks suspicious if this is just happening in imagination. Second, and very important, there is no love in your scenario. If there is no reality to us as individuals, then therefore no reality in relationship. If you did feel love, who would be there to love and who would be there to be loved? If it was seamless as you say, there would be no individual you.
Saniel says that we exist as a a Unity of Divine and Human, of Absolute and Relative, as consciousness and matter.
You have the Absolute in your understanding, the consciousness, but you have not integrated the material, mortal, vulnerable, it would appear.
ZERO.
Here is a quote from an Interview;
Q. How do you define self realization?
Saniel. I define self-realization as the basic integration of your infinite and finite natures, so that you are as rock-bottom aware, conscious, and confident of your transcendental freedom or limitnessness as you are of your material, mortal, vulnerable limitedness.
