Now I would say that boredom IS a feeling. It may be covering over other feelings however, so in this sense it could be a way of not feeling them. BUT I suspect that the way to get down to the other feelings is THROUGH allowing yourself to feel the boredom.

A good subject of investigation. If only it weren't so darn boring to do!

When I was in college I cleaned the apartment of an way older lady who used to watch football on her tv and listen to the world series baseball games on her radio simultaneously. She was hoping to reincarnate as a football player in her next life. :]
