 I was just checking to you know, see if anything new had come up and all I saw was my own message so, being so enamored with myself, I read it again and I'm thinking, god this sounds so unreal. Like, Gill's question keeps coming into my mind: What if we all lived together? Would we always be pissing each other off over who's turn it is to do the laundry (or whatever she said back there. I can't look it up or I'll lose this message.)

You know this is sort of unreal, a message board. We never have to deal with each other's bodies and their odors and bad habits. We only have to deal with the version of ourselves we put down in writing. I mean I can look pretty good in writing if I'm edited enough. I have to confess here that sometimes I edit my messages a whole bunch of times. What you see is the lily white version. Well not today. I'm just letting this one hang out as it comes.

But think about mutuality in real life where you do have to really deal with the everyday stuff of getting along with somebody. It's really different. So my question that I seem to be getting to is this: Is this mutuality? Are we being honest with each other and ourselves here? If someone rubs us the wrong way how are we dealing with it?

I don't know the answers to these questions. I just wanted to bring them up in this "lovely" little interlude. Not to spoil the moment, but maybe to add a little reality to it.

What do you guys think? Should we get in a fight? Or what?
