Mirror to Mirror
When we inhale the reflection cast in the morning hours, when we visit ourselves in outward expression, faced yes with ourselves, how indeed do we respond?
Are we gentle and graceful in our assessment, handling ourselves as a child would, with a young bird coupled in his cradled hand's? Are we loving and generous in our perception of our shadow image, as we would be to another?
Is not our reflection bathed in uncut honesty, worthy not of our respect and admiration? Does it not represent our essence, etched and painted in portrait fashion and form? Therefore is it not worthy of our applause, for surely the very intake of our eye at that moment indeed introduces us to a creation basking in splendor.
Yes, the special unique gift we each and all represent in our entirety,
not finished, nor yet fine-tuned, yet in our simplicity we truly represent greatness, each and all.
For none can be painted in our likeness, for we each are special and wrapped presents, all designed for a rare purpose and goal in life.
We are laid at the feet of one another, as on Christmas morning, as wrapped gifts, hopefully to be entreated and received with appreciation and welcome.
So as we are unwrapped, may we each be our best self and person, so as to bring joy to another, even if just for a blink in time.
If you show them your heart, all men of value shall embrace it.
Peace,
