im so glad someone said it. i hate to rag on competitors in our area, because i have a lot of respect for anyone who throws a leg over a bike. but!

it IS shameful. im pretty upset by it. i believe we only have so many chances to race in events like these. if people stick their necks out, offer up money and prizes and their own time to put on a race like this and then get this kind of response......i cant see how we can expect them to continue to do so.

no one ever HAS to race. no one is holding a gun to anyones head. but i would think that people WANT to race. hell, we raced all spring long in cold and wet conditions, and the turnouts were pretty good.....what happened, people???
