Subject: MAKE YOUR PLANS FOR FEILE SAMHAIN!! Registration will be open soon, ...

...so don't miss out on one of the most fun dance events of the year, complete with Halloween costumes & decorations, jack-o-lantern & mask competitions, our famous costume reel, and a repeat of our popular charitable specials benefiting Susan Komen Breast Cancer Research and the Doernbecher Children's Hospital (100% of entry fees go to charities--feis pays for costs of running events).

We know that everyone is being careful with their travel dollars this year, so we have worked very hard to hold down costs to help your pocket book:

NEW VENUE this year--the landmark Red Lion Hotel @ the Quay in Vancouver, WA, just a couple of blocks from last year's venue and right on the Columbia River, which has 1) microwaves & refrigerators in all rooms; 2) free parking; 3) free shuttle from Portland airport; AND feis rate of $89 for single & $99 for double room. Eating options include cash food sales during the event, or for a dine-in experience, try the fabulous Pacific Grill & Chowder House at the venue with its gorgeous view of the Columbia River (Saturday night will be "Irish" theme), or take a short walk to Joe's Crab Shack, Who Song & Larry's, etc.

ANOTHER COST-SAVER: Prepaid programs will be available through Feisworx for only $5 each (to be picked up @ venue with dancer card). A limited supply of programs will be available @ the venue for $8 each.

Feile Samhain will continue to be one of the most generous feis events, including overseas adjudicators, crystal trophies, lots of candy & goodies and other "swag". Because of our new schedule (see below), we have even added new categories to some of our perpetual trophies so that nobody will miss the chance to participate!

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
1. We have reduced our cap to 500 this year, so be sure to register & pay early once registration is open.

2. We have a new schedule--U11 grades and all championships on Saturday, 11&O grades, teams and cultural competitions on Sunday. (Specials will take place on the same day of dancer's solo competitions.)
