CJ I'm wondering if your problem with Christianity is that God came to earth as a male, Jesus. I wonder this as you don't seem to find it difficult to accept a goddess. The Bible has mention of female prophets, so the Bible is not against women, hence God is not against women. However, I believe that God does have all the characteristics of men and women because some of the Hebrew names for God have feminine meanings to them. I believe that when a man and woman marry, they come together as having God's characteristics in their union. In other words, they both have different strengths to bring to their marriage, making a very strong bond. I think that we refer to God as male, as the male gender is generally seen as the stronger of the two.
