For the record most wiccans do not take from the Gardner way of wicca I follow the celtic path in which I do not in fact beleive in the power of three in fact we do believe however that what you put out comes back if you hate then hate will return and if you love and are truly kind then that will also return.. What people need to understand is that Wicca has many orders and people do bend and shape to their satisfaction and there are many "new" orders to follow however like any religion it does change with time you can't expect wiccan or paganism to be ritualized the same as it was 1000 or even two hundred years ago. Of course it is going to evolve as did catholics over the years especially when the relgion was losing members they changed a lot made a lot of exceptions. But anyway the truth is both religions can be traced back to ancient orders and there is evidence anthropological eveidenc of this. However you do have to take the time to look for it. At any rate everyone takes their own beliefs and twists them to fit their needs and thats the simple truth but to go by one article about Gardner being the man inventing wicca is simply obserd. Gardner is the man who reintroduced wicca to the states kinda like the latin invasion or the british invasion of rock and roll in the 1960s and seventies oh what a twisted time. But he certainly was n ot the founder or inventer. To take this article for the mere words that are written is obsurd I would be more interested in what Anthropologists uncover than anything else. Anyway food for thought. CJ
