I really pity you are blind to the beauty that are in other religions. Generally a western man can't be contempt an a empty room a eastern man can. Karma is the same idea is that you reap what you sow but i don't think it is a rip off of it. I am not sure if it predates judaism but buddhism predates chirstanity. Buddha was very wise so was ghandi i don't think they ripped off anything they were smart enough to come to their own path. If everything needed for everyone was in the bible there wouldn't be different religions. I think christians personally could learn from the buddha concept of non attachment. Most christians are so attached to the bible that they don't want to challenge and like u refuse to see the beauty in any other religions. It like become the total jusitfication for their belief system and thus most feel that if the bible says it then it must be true. IF people were able to detatch from it then christanity wouldn't be such an ethnocenteric religion. If eastern religions did rip off western religions i'd have to say they did a really good job because they memebers of their religion are generally able to obtain a state of spirituality most westerners are blind to. Though i don't believe the bible yes, there is more to a religion then just what the dogma might say but in my experince it does not require a beleif in christ for god to open up and share his love with you. I can feel god talk to me and he doesn't tell me to be christian but i can feel his love, presence and blessing in my life and for now i am walking down the religious path that works for me. I know god loves me all the same regardless if i beleive christ is my saviour or not he still hears my prayers when i do pray and sometimes i do and i along with all the non christians i can say that i feel in my soul with a 99% assurance that i will not end up in hell. Each religion basically puts the same thing just in different ways all enable to become better peopel and more spiritual and it does not require you believe in christ for this to happen. For some people it can be a very good jump start and it is all they need. For others they need a different route
