Y'alls get the point, gnashing of teeth only really occurs when your in extreme pain. The worm would express the idea of a tapeworm that cannot be satisfied therefore one could never get used to the fire or torment.
Abraham's bosom
Matt.16:22-"...the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's Bosom:the rich man was also buried"
read verse 23 concerning torment.
