I Think That this whole political correctness BS is stupid. We're silencing our own religion because we think we'll offend other religions. Why don't other religions silence their own religions? because they know we aren't offended by them. Hell, we're more celebrative of other religions than our own. This country was brought up with the christian religion and we didn't have a problem with it for the past 1900+ years. but now that people can sue others for "forcing" and "exploiting" religion on others, the gov't. and the public both don't want to deal with non-christian religions being pressured by christianity. It's all stupid, the jewish religion has no censorship on it, jews openly announce it.
This also started becuse of the separation of church and state, ever since the banishment of the pledge in school and the censorship of christian items such as posters, pictures, decorations. They got rid of religion in school, The study of religion in a class, like U.S. studies or global studies, wasn't aloud in our school unless allowed by the princaple and the super intendant(very lame). It's all being pushed to far. They can't call it "christmas vacation" because that singles out christianity, making it more important than others, so now it's just "winter vacation", though the soul purpose is for the celebration of christmas. I wouldn't be suprised to see easter called something else, christmas tree's called something else, just so other very public religions feel "safe" and not pressured by us christians. It's all BS started by some religious Zealots in the senate or up high in democracy.
I guess i'm done with the blabbering. if you enjoy debating over this kinda stuff keep this stuff goin. i enjoy talking about political stuff like this.
