Hi Jeff,

I am reading through the Bill Schnobloen book (Lucifer Dethroned) at the moment for the critical amalysis of the competition section of my book proposal.

I can see why some people may doubt his story (due to it's sensationalistic claims and that he seems to have been there and done virtually everything), but wondered what objections you had to the book?

I am in the process of collecting such testimony books by ex-occultists. I started off doing this for the proposal but have found it a bit of a hobby horse now! ( - :

Some of the books I have are quite obscure and could not, therefore, be used in the proposal. Needless to say though, they still make a fascinating read.

Read one a few months back by an author called Stan Lee, called Beware the Devil. He was a spiritualist who ended up being utterrly tormented by his guides until he found deliverance and salvation in Christ.

Here's what I have read so far:

[half way through this one]: Lucifer Dethroned: A True Story, by William Schnoebelen, Sharon Schnoebelen, Chick Publications, U.S., 1993.

From Witchcraft to Christ by Doreen Irvine, Kingsway Publications, Eastbourne, 2004. Paperback.

The Beautiful Side of Evil by Joanna Michaelsen, Harvest House Publishers, Eugene, 1982.

He Came to Set the Captives Free by Rebecca Brown, Whitaker House, 1993. Paperback. Price: £9:99.

A Trip into the Supernatural, by Roger J. Morneau, Review and Herald Publishing Association, U.S., 1993.

Books I have got, have read, but am not including in the books proposal (on account that they are not as popular or well known):

Delivered to Declare, Gabriele Trinkle

Dance with the Devil, Audrey Harper.

Beware the Devil, Stan Lee.

The Witch that Switched, Irene Park.

Books I still need to buy and read:

Blankenship, Roberta:" Escape From Witchcraft"

Satan's High Priest, by Judith Spencer.

From Satan to Christ: A Story of Salvation, by Sean Manchester.

Inside the New Age Nightmare, by Randall N. Baer.

Satan’s Underground: The Extraordinary Story of One Woman's Escape
by Lauren Stratford, Harvest House Publishers, U.S., 1991.

Do you know of any other books similar to the above that I could look out for?
