Hi Vince,
I saw the movie today. Extremely graphic! Mel Gibson has done a wonderful job portraying the brutality our Lord must have endured in those last hours on earth.
The movie is biblically accurate and full of subtleties that can easily be missed if you take your attention away from the screen for more than a few seconds. Later, my wife pointed out things that I had missed and I a few things she had missed. I would definitely recommend seeing it more than once.
As far as anti-Semitism, as I said, it is biblically accurate. No more, no less.
I particularly appreciated Mel Gibson’s attention to the demonic activity surrounding Judas Iscariot.
